A German edition of Cook's map of the North Pacific from his Third Voyage, engraved by Karl Jäck for Georg Forster's 'Des Capitain Jacob Kooks britte Entdedungs Reise'. This version is unusual for having an inset scene of Prince William Sound.

Condition:

Binding folds reinforced, narrow right margin.
