Description

A rare separate-issued plan of the Great Fire of London, published as a broadsheet, with a letterpress account of the fire and a 93-point key of 'Streetes and places burnt down', both in Dutch, French and English below. The map shows London and Westminster with the extent of the destruction left uncoloured. with numbers linking to the key of buildings destroyed. Underneath is a tromp l'oeil prospect of the burning city at night; and top left is the 'New Model' plan for rebuilding the City.

Condition:

Some restoration, cracks in paper affecting publication line, trimmed within plate on right, laid on old paper.
