A classic collector's map of the Americas, printed from the last of three plates, all engraved by Frans Hogenberg, now with the famous extra bulge in South America removed, an extra cartouche over Anian and the engraved date of 1587 bottom right.
Condition:
Pair of worm holes filled with mss, top right margin corner repaired.References:
