Description
A highly decorative map of Asia, derived from Nicolaas Witsen's 4-sheet map of 1687, with an inset top right showing the northern extemities of Siberia. Above Japan is Hokkaido, only partially mapped and called Yedso. The title cartouche bottom left represents the riches of the continent.
