Description
A double-hemisphere world map, engraved by Matthaeus Albrecht Lotter after Delisle, with two further spheres for the North & South Poles. Of interest are the partial outlines of Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand, despite Cook's visit to the region 1769-1770, and the 'Terra Yedso' connecting Japan to mainland Asia.
