Description

A plan of London in the form of a bird's-eye view, based on the woodcut sometimes attributed to Ralph Agas, of which there are only three known copies in institutions. The map is surrounded by twenty uncoloured vignettes, including a prospect of the city, the Tower of London, London Bridge, the Globe and eight city gates. 'Turkey Mill' paper was regarded as the best paper for print publishing.
