A very decorative map of the Middle East, covering from Constantinople and the Nile in the west to Kabul and Kanahar in the east, with Turkey and Cyprus, the Caspian Sea, the Holy Land, Arabia and Persia. east to The title and scale cartouches, both in full colour, feature an elephant with a mahout and a turbaned cartographer.
