Description
A very fine example of this decorative map of the Morea, with a title cartouche featuring the Venetian Lion, representing the Peloponnese by Francesco Morosini during the Morean War of 1684-99. Around the map are 14 inset prospects and plans of cities, including Athens and Corinth.
