Miniature birdseye town plan of Alexandria including the harbor, sailing ships, buildings and forts. It was published in the 'Description de l'Univers', a five-volume work by Mallet (1630-1706), a military engineer, cartographer and mathematician in the service of the French King, Louis XIV.
