A scarce woodcut map of Europe

A woodcut copy of the Ortelius map of Europe, published in the ''Cosmographie Universelle', which contained the text of Munster's 'Cosmography' translated into French by Belleforest and maps copied from various sources including Ortelius and Braun & Hogenberg. A rare map, much more so that the original copper engraving by Ortelius.
