Description
A superb map of the Morea, with a title cartouche featuring the Venetian Lion, representing the Peloponnese by Francesco Morosini during the Morean War of 1684-99. Around the map are 14 inset prospects and plans of cities, including Athens and Corinth.
Condition:
Slight cracking at folds, old repair to small tear.References:
