Description

A 17th century miniature map of Ancient Egypt, highlighting towns and the river nile. The map was published in the 'Description de l'Univers', a five-volume work by Mallet (1630-1706), a military engineer, cartographer and mathematician in the service of the French King, Louis XIV.

Condition:

A good example.
