Scarce 18th century view of Ardabil

A plan of Ardabil presented as a bird's-eye view, with a camel train in the foreground, with keys of important places in the top corners. The view is based on that of Adam Olearius (1603-71), a German scholar and diplomat who visited Ardabil in 1638, and was published in van der Aa'a monumental 'La Gallerie Agreable du Monde', issued in 66 parts.
