Description
A large and decorative map although, according to Tooley, 'extraordinarily inaccurate', with the Nile extending further south than Lake Zaire, and every inch of the map filled with fictitious detail.
A delightful title cartouche, designed by Gottfried Rogg with a dragon, crocodile, parrots and pyramids, fills the lower left corner.
