18th century map of Portugal with a fine title cartouche

A small-format map of Portugal, engraved by Tobias Conrad Lotter for Seutter's 'Atlas Minor', with a decorative title cartouche. Nearly a quarter of the plate is taken up with a title cartouche containing Neptune in his chariot and a full-length portrait of the Queen. Underneath is a map of the Portuguese colonies in Brazil. Lotter eventually took over his father-in-law's business.
